On September 29th, St.Micheal’s held their annual Feast Day. Starting the day with all students going to their first period class for attendance, and getting their wristbands and meal tickets.

Soon after all classes were called down to the gymnasium to partake in mass, run with the help of the chaplain, Mr.Minardi. As the school faithfully listened and participated in the mass, excitement built for the day full of school spirit ahead of them. Before the true fun began, all students were gathered on the field to take a photo in the shape of an L. To finish the sequence of photos from prior years that spell out St. Micheal.
Students then headed to their second period classes to get further instruction on the day ahead. While the 10’s and 12’s went on the Terry Fox walk the 9’s and 11’s were out on the field. They enjoyed the 3 inflatable obstacle courses and the big inflatable slide. As music was being played by the DJ, teachers and students danced. Once everyone returned from their walk the grades switched. The 9’s and 11’s set off for their walk as and 10’s and 12’s got to enjoy the inflatables. When the second batch of students returned from their walk, the barbecue was ready to go.

Serving burgers, chips, juice boxes and a slice of cake for dessert. It was a hot day, but thankfully the ice cream truck was there to supply all with a cold treat to cool down before it was time for the flag football game. With the school spirit at its highest, our flag football teams were split into two. An exciting way to end an exhausting day, as our yellow team took their victory. Following lunch, the school began to trickle outside to cheer for their teams.
The day ended on a relaxing note, as friends enjoyed each other's company, and relished in the warm weather.
