Grade 9 Religion Retreat

This year like many, we welcome our grade 9’s through our annual Grade 9 Retreat. This year the Grade 9 class went to the Brampton Soccer Center. There, they were split into groups and did a selection of ice breakers including: Simon Says and Huckle Buckle. Before eating their Portuguese chicken, potatoes, and rice, Mr. Minardi shared his life story about how he ended up at St. Michael and how he became who he is today. Some not only found his story touching, but that it was the highlight of their day. Before leaving, they were all asked a question on the topic of “We All Belong”. It was a good experience to prepare the grade 9’s for this school year
